Beyond the Braai: Unique Ways to Cook and Enjoy Boerewors!

Boerewors , a staple of South African cuisine, is traditionally grilled over an open flame, known as a braai. However, there's more to this versatile sausage than just grilling. Explore some unique ways to cook and enjoy boerewors, from baking and air-frying to incorporating them into gourmet dishes. Cooking Methods Beyond Grilling Baking  Baking is a more convenient method than grilling.  Simply put the boerewors onto a baking tray covered with parchment paper and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes or so, turning every so often.  This retains moisture and is great for an instant, in-house meal. Air-Frying  Air-frying is another creative method for cooking boerewors.  It gets crispy outside while the inside remains juicy, just like grilling but with much less oil.  Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
